The Pacers take game 1 over the New York
Knicks
the final score of the game was 102 to 95. The Pacers were the bigger and more
physical team through out the game Roy Hibbert presence
was felt through out the game as he scored 14 points had 8 rebounds 5 block
shots and altered many other shots at the rim. The Pacers had a balance scoring
act with David West, Paul George Hibbert, George Hill, Lance Stephenson
and D.J Augustin all scoring in double digits. Raymond Felton
was effective for the Knicks scoring 18 points on 8-12 shooting but New York
two leading scorers Carmelo Anthony and J.R Smith combined to go 14-43 in the
loss. The Pacers out toughed the Knicks in game 1 to get the 1-0 series
lead the Knicks
will
need their stars Carmelo Anthony and J.R Smith to score more efficiently
if they want to tie the series up at 1-1 on Tuesday.
