 NFC North Preview
Green bay Packers Best Offensive player Aaron Rodgers Best Defensive Player Clay Matthews
The Good Aaron Rodgers might be the best qb in the NFL and with talented collection of pass catchers that include Greg Jennings Jordy Nelson Jermicheal Finley and Donald Driver it’s no reason Rodgers should have a huge drop off in terms of numbers this year. Fantasy football nerds look out for second year Kick/Punt Returner Randall Cobb to play an even bigger role in the offense this year. The Defense was terrible last year but it did lead the NFL in turnovers last year
The Bad This defense was historically horrible last year especially at defending the pass and Future Hall of Famer Charles woodson isn’t getting any younger and his days as a shutdown corner maybe over. The Packers still have no proven opposite pass rusher besides Clay Matthews. Have the Packers recovered mentally from the beating the giants gave them at home in the playoffs
At Worst 11-5
At Best 13-3
Realistically 12-4

Chicago Bears Best Offensive player Brandon Marshall Best Defensive player Julius Peppers
The Good Jay Cutler finally gets the number 1 wr he has been asking for in his old Bronco teammate Brandon Marshall. Matt Forte and Michael Bush should form one of the best duo running threats in NFL. The Bears still have the best defense in this division with all world defensive end Julius Peppers and Linebacker Lance Briggs.

The Bad Jay Cutler has been sacked 105 times over the last 2 years and the Bears didn’t do anything to upgrade the line. Can Cutler and Forte stay healthy the whole season and can Brandon Marshall be a model citizen or the malcontent who was traded by the broncos and the dolphins. Age concern for the defense the best 4 players on the bears’ defense Peppers Briggs Urlacher and Tillman are all in their thirties.
At Worst 9-7
At Best 11-5
Realistically 10-6
Detroit Lion Best Offensive player Calvin Johnson Best Defensive Player Cliff Avrill
The Good Calvin Johnson plays like a man amongst boys and has established himself as the best wr in the NFL. Matt Stafford was finally able to play 16 games this year and up put up over 40 tds and 5 thousand passing yards. Tight end Brandon Pettigrew has turned into one of the most reliable tight ends in football. Cliff Avrill wants a long term deal so I expect him to go out and have another ten plus sack season.
The Bad The secondary is horrible at best and their best player in the secondary Louis Delmas has had nagging injuries so far in his career. Can Matt Stafford be as durable this season as he was last year? After a great rookie year Suh regressed and if the lions want this defense to get better they need suh to regain his rookie form.
At Worst 8-8
At Best 11-5
Realistically 9-7
Minnesota Vikings Best Offensive player Adrian Peterson Best Defensive Player Jared Allen
The Good Ap acl has improved faster than anybody would have thought it would and has a good chance to play in the season opener. Percy Harvin is one of the most versatile wrs in the NFL. Rookie Matt Kali looks to help protect second year qb Christian Ponder. Jared Allen is the best defensive end in football and is relentless at rushing the passer and stopping the run.
The Bad This team has a lot of big names but it is still the least talented team in this division by far. How will AP recover from his acl injury, and will Percy Harvin’s migraine problem into play this season. This secondary is terrible and when you play in a division with Aaron Rodgers Matt Stafford and Jay Cutler that isn’t a good thing
At Worst 3-13
At Best 6-10
Realistically 5-11
